Barry Moore supports the SAVE Act/SAVE America Act and says federal elections should require proof of U.S. citizenship and voter identification; he has also advocated ending or bypassing the Senate filibuster to advance the measure. He favors limiting mail-in voting and holding elections on Election Day, while acknowledging that election fraud has not been rampant in Alabama compared with some other states.

Barry Moore is strongly pro-cryptocurrency. He has voted for the crypto industry's top legislative priorities in the House, including the GENIUS Act (stablecoin regulation) and the CLARITY Act (H.R. 3633, giving the CFTC authority over digital commodities), and he personally owns bitcoin.
